CAKE MY DAY

"You've got to respect an artist whose medium is a baked good." - Entertainment Weekly

The New York Times bestselling authors behind Hello, Cupcake! are back: bigger, bolder, and better than ever! Their new book CAKE MY DAY: Easy, Eye-Popping Designs for Stunning, Fanciful, and Funny Cakes is packed with cake projects for every skill level, from kitchen klutz to master decorator.

Karen Tack and Alan Richardson joined morning news programs across the country for tips, tricks and show-stopping cake demonstrations. There were springtime cakes for every occasion, plus, easy surprise-inside techniques like zebra stripes, polka dots, and oh-so-trendy ombré. No time to bake? No problem! All of Karen and Alan’s ingenious tricks can be used on store-bought cakes, too.

Karen and Alan believe that "more is more" and with their expert guidance anyone can use everyday ingredients and tools to make one-of-a-kind cake creations.

MIND YOUR BODY LAUNCH PARTY

We were thrilled to co-host a party to celebrate the launch of Joel Harper's new book "Mind Your Body" on March 19th at Neuehouse in NYC. As a take on the connection between mind and body, guests were entertained by various performers including a mind reader, hula hoop artist, contortionists, a ribbon dancer and a strong man.

Celebrity guests drank specialty cocktails such as "Mind Benders" and "Body Elixirs" and dined on dishes from the book including Salmon Croquettes, Edamame Salad, Ginger Shrimp, bite-sized Turkey Burgers, Zucchini Soup and Peanut Butter-Avocado Cookies.
